Missed Classes Refund/Credit Policy
MISSED CLASSES / MAKE-UPS / REFUNDS / CREDITS
All fees are term (or fixed period) based to cover the cost of instructors and venue hire so that we can guarantee high quality classes without overcrowding or disruption from students changing each week. We do not allow students to do make-up classes for “missed lessons” as this would mean disrupting another class by placing random students into new classes. This also means that each individual’s classes will suffer less disruption allowing them to get more value out of them.
Swim Dynamics does not offer make-up classes, credits or refunds for classes missed by a student/client when it is out of our control (i.e. no-show). This is because we cannot give your class space away and must still pay the instructor along with venue hire. If the customer has exceptional circumstances and has provided early notification we may take this into consideration (serious medical or family tragedy), going away on holidays does not count as exceptional circumstances.
Should we have to cancel a class either due to severe weather or Teacher illness, we will endeavour to offer make-up classes or a credit for any classes which we may have had to cancel.
WET WEATHER / LIGHTNING POLICY
Swimming classes will continue in the event of wet weather, classes will only be cancelled in the case of closure of the pool by the lifeguards, who monitor electrical storms and have their own policies regarding closure. In the event of pool closure part way through a class we will endeavour to offer a dry land swimming program including water safety and skills done undercover. Classes will only be considered cancelled when we cannot get at least 10minutes of swimming time.
If we cancel classes customers will be offered either a make-up class or a credit at our discretion/ ability.
