The Sharks swim club has a growing history of over 30 years and has been active in Palmerston since just before the council pool first opened in 1988.
The clubs mission and values are about developing and supporting personal excellence in a family friendly environment. We know that swim clubs and sport are a great place for individuals to grow and be supported by a healthy team network.
Our teams successes are measured in the support we offer to individuals and families but also include many competitive performance outcomes and team selections as well.
There is no need for an assessment for the Parent & Child Classes as these classes are broken into age-group progressions.
Parents are encouraged (and asked) to wear a rashie or a loose t-shirt in the water to give your child something to grab. Otherwise you may find you will lose some chest hair or have your bikini straps undone by accident!

Swim Dynamics delivers coaching programs on behalf of Sharks swim club.
All swimmers in squads MUST complete the registration link above to give coaches access to vital swimmer information including emergency contact details.
Current Squads offered at Palmerston included

Starfish Squad Multi- class pathway program, supporting swimmers with additional needs with a view to inclusion in mainstream squads where possible

Fees.
Families are invoiced each term for Coaching fees (club registration fees are done annually through the club website) with options to pay by bank transfer, Credit card or vouchers. For further information please email our team.
Please confirm the fees per term for your squad level with your coach.

Success doesn't happen overnight and whilst the greatest indicators for success for our coaching team happen on weekly basis as character develops and positive choices are made we still like to remember some of the BIG MOMENT success our coaching team has helped make happen.
